So this past Thanksgiving was perfect! Perfect in a non-traditional, on a whim sorta way.
The original Thanksgiving plan was to travel up to Grandma's house Thursday morning in just enough time to stuff our faces with holiday goodness and enjoy the rest of the day.
So in true Lex-Family fashion. . . we were a bit delayed.
We ended up leaving in the afternoon and arrived sometime around 4:00. Surprisingly enough no one else had arrived at Grandma's either! Which left me and my sis to first dibs on all the food. Hells yeah!
Anywho, there was laughs, family and plenty of memories to go around. I loved it. There was also even enough meat-free options for me to put together an excellent plate and to-go box ( the little wins are what matter.)
One of the highlights of the evening was going to see a late night viewing of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay with my little cousins. Who, by the way, aren't little at all anymore but they will forever hold that title by default :)
Sis and I actually found some time to record the Sister TAG, which just reminded me of how blessed and I am to have such a fantastic family.
