The holidays are the best time of the year to be around family and friends. Laughing and sharing memories. Eating delicious foods and snuggling near the fireplace.
This kinda of holiday love is something I experience almost every month with my family. Even though I no longer live at home ( and haven't for years lol), I live about two hours away and my parents often stop by for weekend visits.
This past weekend was one of those times. Mom, dad, sis and bro all came and we had an amazing couple of days.On the last night of the weekend my parents and I decided to go grab some late night ice cream from our local the Bruster's.
If you have ever had the change to experience Bruster's Ice Cream it is amazing. It has this wonderful homemade taste and feel and they even make ice cream cakes and pies!

I ended up getting an amazing caramel sundae made with banana ice cream.
My dad got this crazy/cool looking banana split garnished with a pretzel rod. This guy is a true character and loves his banana splits!
Mom chose a sherbet for herself and my brother and sister to enjoy back home.
This is what the holidays are for me. Those random moments that remind you of how precious family is. I can't wait to enjoy this holiday season, it's going to be awesome.
