Divinely Flavored

Conveniently located just outside of the new built parking stations at Downtown Disney, Wolfgang Puck Cafe is an artistic gem nestled among a variety of eateries on the strip. I entered in, immediately greeted by vivid colors and the sounds of lively patrons enjoying their meals.

I was directed to the upstairs portion of the restaurant where I met with the ladies of the Central Florida Lady Bloggers group. The team at the restaurant put together an amazing spread of savory entree' selections for us to sample. The set up? Gorgeous! The location? To die for!

Chef Rob and his team of culinary artists did a wonderful job with not only the presentation of the food selections but also with the service.

Our waiters and waitresses were both courteous and knowledgable about the food. My glass was never empty - a testament to their diligence.

My favorite entree from the evening was the Miso Glazed Salmon. The pan-seared fish was served atop a vegetable mix ( carrots, mushrooms, etc.) and an orange infused sushi rice cake. I feel in love with the rice cake almost immediately.  Imagine sushi rice seared, flavored with just a hint of orange. More savory than sweet, but so delicious. This entire masterpiece laid on top of a savory cream sauce.

In addition to this we were also served a sampling of seared scallops with a mushroom mix, a fresh variety of decadent sushi, fresh pizzas and small Chinois salads.

Oh but it doesn't stop there! The drink selections for the evening included Wolfgang's own line of wines. Each bottle purchased supplies a donation to 'Keep Memory Alive'. So essentially you're wine-ing and winning ( see what I did there?!  ha! I crack myself up.)

One of the highlights of the evening was getting to chat with the lovely ladies of the Central Florida Lady Bloggers group in such a beautiful and accommodating atmosphere. I was introduced to a number a spectacular ladies who's passion for their craft was nothing less than inspiring.

A lot of our best conversations happened over dessert. By that time we were all fully in love with the food that was prepared and just could not wait to see what we had coming to top of the night. What was presented to us was nothing less that delectable. A selection to mini sweets, perfectly choreographed on our plates.

The selection included key lime pie, chocolate cake and carrot cake. The carrot cake came out on top for me, but everything was amazing. AH-MAZZZZ-INGGG.

I have got to get my hands on that Miso Salmon again. Which means, I'll have to come back to Wolfgang Puck Cafe' again and again and again. ( Sigh ) The life of a food lover. . . .
My next #PartyAtPucks will definitely include friends and family. I can't keep a food experience like that to myself. It would really be a crime.
