Finding Friday

Starbucks recently launched their new 'Cold Brew' coffee, which, in any other instance would mean nothing to me as I am not a coffee drinker. In fact, while most enjoy a caramel macchiato and cafe latte on occasion, I enjoy a chai tea and call it a day.

I'd been hearing through the grapevine that this Cold Brew was on another level. That it was smoothing tasting and uber caffeinated. So I tried it. 

IT. IS. AWESOME.

I shared with my co-workers that on the morning of my 3rd Cold Brew consumption, and I quote, "My coffee has kicked in. Im addicted. I feel like I'm riding a small cloud to Narnia." And I meant just that.

Matte Lippie? Yes. Pigmented? Yes. Long lasting? Yes.

New summer color fave? Yes.

The sheer amount of detail and artistry involved in the production of NBC's Hannibal alone deserve some sort of award. 

I so love the artistry involved with Hannibal, that I wait to get the 1080p version instead of muddling through the standard cable rendition. Trust me folks, it is work it.

For those of us who love a dramatic storyline and ache at the sound of melodic, shakespearian inspired dialogue - get into Hannibal.

Blue Apron has opened my mind to a world of cooking techniques and styles that I could not have thought to do myself. 

Specifically, the idea of zesting. 

I swear all but like 4 of the recipes I have received include me zesting, deseeding and juicing some type of citrus fruit. The results? Bombdiggity flavor that blows the mind.

I'm just saying, if you can budget for it weekly. Give it a try. I loves me some Blue Apron.
