Titus Andromedon is my spirit animal. He is everything I need to get by. If you have not taken the time to binge watch 'The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" on Netflix ( for you cannot view this series any other way ) you have not lived.
The amount to cleverly placed shade and comical pop culture references in this series is enough to have you ROFL'ing for hours on end. The series has garnered 7 Emmy nominations, including " Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series" for the man behind Andromedon's character, Mr. Tituss Burgess.
This series was not nominated for nothing! I have watched it in it's entirety 3 times. . . and now you know where my Saturday afternoons go. . . .

My fro speaks of culture, strength, complexity and beauty. I love it.
This week has been a week of progression, faith and positivity. I had the opportunity to visit a new church family this past Sunday and even as I write these words, I feel as if I have been changed.
I was kindly invited to this church by a college friend of mine and I have to say that in that church that day I heard a message that has stirred me in the most awesome of ways.
All in all, I am learning that my life must be a testament to my faith. Keeping God at the center of my life just brings so much peace and joy to who I am and what I do. This week I have felt an overwhelming sense of calm and purpose.
Not because everyday was great, but because God was great everyday.
